Tiers from
What it does
No FPS drop
Tested with 100 tagged players on screen: same FPS with tags on as with them off. Other tier taggers can cut your FPS a lot.
Four tier lists
PvPTiers, SubTiers, PVPHQ and MCPVP. Show one before the name, and a second one after it if you like.
Their real icons
Each list's own kit icons, so a PvPTiers sword looks like PvPTiers' sword. Prefer vanilla items? One switch.
Nametags, tab and chat
Tiers show above heads, in the player list and in front of chat messages. Turn each on or off.
Player cards
Type /lt <name> for anyone's tiers on every list, peak tiers, and their skin as a 3D model.
See it before you play
The settings show your own player with your tag, and every change shows up straight away.
Why it doesn't lag
Built once
A player's tag is made once and reused every frame, not rebuilt 60+ times a second.
Drawn with the name
Badges and icons are part of Minecraft's own font, so a whole nametag is drawn in one go.
Looked up quietly
Tiers load in the background and are saved, so they show instantly next time and never freeze the game.

Questions
Does the server need it?
No. It's client-side only and works on any server. Nobody else needs to install it.
Why does someone show N/T or nothing?
N/T means Not Tested: that list has no tier for them. Players on cracked (offline-mode) servers can't be looked up, and server NPCs are skipped.
Where's MCTiers?
MCTiers shut down, and PvPTiers carries on with its tier list. Lite Tiers shows PvPTiers by default.
Can I run it with another tier mod?
Use one tier mod at a time. Two would both edit the same nametags.
What does it send?
To look tiers up, players' Minecraft IDs (and names, for MCPVP) are sent to the tier list sites, and skins for player cards come from Mojang. Nothing about you is collected. See the Privacy page.
Can I use the source code?
No. Lite Tiers is All Rights Reserved: you can't reuse its code, make your own version or re-upload it. You can use it, make videos with it and add it to modpacks that link to this page.
